Profilpas profiles for stairs chosen for Tenaris University
Tenaris has selected about 1200m of Profilpas profiles for stairs, line Prostep article SIS 100 in brushed stainless steel to coat the numerous stairs in the premises.
Prostep is a line of profiles for making, defining and protecting the laying of steps in ceramic, marble, stone, etc. Available in different heights and in different materials, such as aluminium, brass, stainless steel, wood and PVC as well as in various finishes; with knurled tread surfaces or with insert slips, depending on the model, it adds elegance and sophistication to the edges of the steps in civil and public areas.
Moreover the articles Prostep SIX, SIS, SMA, SP, SA and SB, exceed the requirements of the DM 236/98 regarding non-slip step. Prostep SIS is a stainless steel profile and is highly resistant to most chemicals and weathering, and in accordance with the DIN 51131, they are anti-slip steps thanks to the tread surface of satin. It is particularly suitable for the protection of steps which are subject to intense pedestrian traffic and is available in two heights (10 and 12.5 mm). Precisely for this reason this article was chosen for the stairs at Tenaris University.
