Profilpas profiles and systems for the bathroom: the larger drain for Smart Drain
In refurbishing the bathroom, more and more people remove the bath tub and replace it with a shower stall of the same size. Consequently, the need for using bigger shower products increases: both the separating walls, and therefore the profiles for the related insertion, and the shower heads, and therefore the drains, must be larger than the standard ones. For these reasons, Profilpas has renovated its wide range of profiles and systems for the bathroom with interesting news.
A bigger shower head clearly implies a greater water flow. For this reason Profilpas has integrated the line of shower drains flush with the floor Smart Drain with a larger drain: the drain PLUS guarantees a flow rate of 0,65 l/sec, 0,25 liters more than the standard drain. Thanks to this system, now you can use maxi shower heads with the guarantee of an efficient drain.
Profilpas profiles and systems for the bathroom: the new sizes for Glass Profile
A large shower also implies the use of separating walls of a bigger format. Accordingly, even the profiles for the insertion of the latter and for the finishing of the shower surface must be greater. That’s why Profilpas has added new sizes to the stainless steel profiles Glass Profile, specifically designed to finish the sloping edges of the tiled shower surface with a 2% slope: indeed, now edges and glass walls for large showers are not a problem anymore thanks to the new length of 200 cm that has been added to the already-available lengths of 98, 120 and 148 cm.
Glass Profile GPS7/, the modular profile in stainless steel for the insertion of glass walls for showers with Slim Drain and Smart Drain, is now available in length of 200 cm with related H2 of 60 mm and end cap GPS/15.
Glass Profile GPS/8, the modular profile in stainless steel with a 2% slope on the inner side of the shower for the edges of the sloping surface, is also available in the new length of 200 cm (H 8 mm and H2 49 mm; H 10 mm and H2 51 mm; H 12,5 mm and H2 53,5 mm).
In the end, the new length of 200 cm is also available for Glass Profile GPS4/ (H 8 mm and H2 49 mm; H 10 mm and H2 49 mm; H 12,5 and H2 49 mm), the profile in stainless steel – likewise fitted with a 2% slope on the inner side – that perfectly solves the connection between the sloping tiled floor and the tiled wall thus removing the oblique cut of tiles.
