Not only in new buildings, but also in refurbishments, one of the most common inquiries is that of installing a floor level shower in the bathroom zone. Basically, this is a shower without the traditional shower tray, with a tiled surface and provided with the right slope in order to guarantee an efficient outflow of water towards the drains. Obviously, this involves many advantages: first of all, you are free to choose the size, ranging from small to big ones. Secondly, besides creating a continuous surface and, therefore, removing any barrier or step, a floor level shower allows to choose the kind of covering  in place of the shower tray: you can opt to continue with the same floor of the room or to use a different covering, as you prefer.

Profilpas offers Glass Profile, a full range of stainless steel profiles for the insertion of glass walls and the finishing of the floor level shower surface. Thanks to these profiles, you can create a perfect coplanar surface by hiding the sloping sides of the tiled shower surface with a 2% slope.

Glass Profile GPS1/ and GPS7/ are two profiles in stainless steel for the insertion of glass walls on the floor, characterized by a 2% slope on the inside and available in the RH and LH versions. GPS1/ is available in lengths of 98, 120 and 148 cm, while GPS7/ is available in a further length of 200 cm.

Glass Profile GPS2/ and GPS14/ are two stainless steel profiles for the insertion of glass walls on the wall covering. The first one must be laid during the installation, can be used with any tile thickness and does not need drillings. On the contrary, the secondo one can be directly installed on the covering already laid.

In addition, for the finishing of the floor level shower surface, Profilpas proposes Glass Profile GPS3/ and GPS8/, two stainless steel profiles with a 2% slope on the inside and available in the RH and LH versions. GPS3/ in available in lengths of 98, 120 and 148 cm, while GPS8/ is available in a further length of 200 cm.

For a perfect aesthetic result of the connection between the floor and the wall covering in a floor level showers, Profilpas offers Glass Profile GPS4/ and GPS5/. The first one is a stainless steel profile which is provided with a 2% slope on the inside (available in the RH and LH versions) and which guarantees a perfect connection thus avoiding the oblique cut of the tile. The second one is a stainless steel profile which connects the two lateral profiles.

In addition to Glass Profile, Profilpas offers two lines of drains for floor level showers, Slim Drain and Smart Drain, two shaped bases for a quick laying of the latter, two panels with a 2% slope and, lastly, Wpstop, a waterproof membrane in polyethylene.
